Nikon D80 Bargin!
Discussion
Today is my Birthday and I have been on about getting me a DSLR.
Having settled on a Nikon D80 I thought I would spend the day touting arround to see what deal I could get, I had a figure in mind but didn't think it could be done!
Jessops - useless as usual, Shop prices no better than Internet and that was after a haggle.
Photo Optika - Happened to be in there when a regional manager was, good chat, He was honest about his buy prices and said the Internet prices I had found were good and not matchable.
Thought that was it and just popped into Currys to make sure I wasnt missing anything. WOW.
D80 with a 18-55 Lens marked up at £529.97, + £50 Cash back from Nikon. But only a couple of ex display ones left in stores. Offered a 10% discount!
Not keen on an ex demo so I asked if there was anything they could do on a new kit with the 18-70mm lens (better than the 18-55 and 18-135) thinking I was taking the piss
RRP Was £599.87, and they gave me an extra £25.00 off, and I still get the Nikon £50 cash back.
WHAT A BARGIN a Nikon D80 + 18-70mm Lens kit for £525 when I get the cash back from Nikon.
