Done a quick search and couldn't find much, but surely a few people have these? Any recommendations or ones to steer clear of?

Looking for a 7" one and don't really want to spend more than £80. Don't need wifi etc. as my parents won't understand it, just needs to read from a memory card as they can cope with that!

There was one advertised on the telly in last few days.....can't for the life of me remember who it was. Could have been Tescos or Comet. silly

I wasn't paying full attention to the telly but remember commenting about how cheap they had become. It was definitely less than £50.

And my post hasn't been much help at all, has it?! Doh!

I bought one for the mother-in-law last Christmas. They are good enough for that but don't expect fab quality for that price.

I bought the Philips one 7 inch for Mrs CVP last Xmas. It's this one "Philips 7" High Resolution Digital Photo Frame (7FF1M4/05)" It's a little more than you are thinking of at £130ish but the screen is nice and crisp and the frame is nicely styled and solidly built.

We had a couple of teething problems where the frame froze during a slideshow but we worked out that it simply couldn't cope with full size files from the SLRs despite what the instructions say. Once resized down to web size (1,000 pixels on longest side) it has performed faultlessly for a year now and is on for about 7 hours a day 5 days a week. It looks great on her work desk and her colleagues often stop by just to have a look at the latest set of images on there. It takes SD cards and can run a slideshow from either the card or the smallish inbuilt memory (50 ish images).

Any reccomendations for these frames? I've seen this one which seems to get good reviews - any others worth looking at?
