I have a whole load of Adobe v3 software.
Dont ask where i got it.
I am told that it is everything Adobe had on the market at that time.
I dont want to install it all as i will probably never use much of it.
Can anyone advise what would be worth installing?

I like messing around with pictures othing over complicated.

I have:

Acrobat Capture 3
Acrobat 6 Pro
After effect 6.5
Atmosphere
Audition 1.5
Dimmension 3 in 1 copy CS
In design CS
Document server 6
Encore DVD 1.5
Frame maker 7.1
Go live CS
Illustrator
In Copy
In Design
Live motion 2
Page maker 7
Page maker plug in
Photoshop album 2
Photoshop cS
Elements
Streamline 4
Version Cue 1

Also if there is any good photo editing software out there that i should be using can anyone advise/

Cheers in Advance

What version of photoshop CS is it, 1? That'll be a little old.

There is nothing better than photoshop for image editing, but for simple stuff try picasa.

Or sit down and learn some tricks in PS, its often quite easy to do what you want, just knowing how is the hard bit.

A bit uncalled for as a response to what I guess was meant to be a light hearted response to your "I've got illegal copies of the best photo-editing and media software there is and I need to know what to install to play with some photos". rolleyes You've got very old versions of everything so you're better off just binning the CD/DVD etc.

If you want a serious answer, then just use Picassa which is free, spend some money and BUY Elements or use Gimp etc.

if the op doesn't know he has image editing software, there's little hope in hell in him being able to use it.

I know that is old software, i will update the software when i buy a new PC but at the moment i does everything i need.
The reason i posted a question was that the CD gave me the option to install each part of the software seperately as listed.
I only installed photoshop and i am unsure if the other software is needed or worth while installing.

To be called a numpty for asking for advice is not very nice and that person deserves to be told what i think of him.

if it's only for editing photos then photoshop will be more than enough wink Maybe read some tutorials before diving in, it can be a bit tricky to get to grips with.

Sheesh, enough of the one liners people, sometimes i feel like the adult in these forums

Everything has pretty much been answered already but definetly photoshop is the way forward, use it lots and you will get to grips with it, then advance to Cs2 and CS3. As for the rest, just install it anyway!
