Just bought a lens off ebay (a Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 DC EX HSM if you are interested) anyway the chap I bought it off included a link to his website in the email to me... turns out he is "a bit good"

i brought that lens a couple of weeks ago. good stuff, other thanmy d100 decided to set itself up on auto iso somehow. seems only to do it with that lens, which im sure cant be right.

got mine for £180ish i think.

good lens other than my camera issue.

is he using a filter, or is he very good in photoshop?

I'd say most of them are making heavy use of HDR and tone mapping. Trust your instincts - if it looks photoshopped, chances are it is!
