OK now I have your attention, I have the following going free to a good home;

A) Two offer from Sandisk for a free copy of Capture One LE RAW workflow software. Normal purchase cost is $99. LE is the cut down version, kind of like the Elements version of Photoshop but for a RAW converter. One per person. The offer gets you two computer activations and one free upgrade

B) One copy of Sandisk Rescue Pro v 3.2 image recovery software

C) Five copies of Sandisk Rescue Pro v 3.0 image recovery software

As I say these are free to a good home so email me through PH if you want one, first come first served.

All are completely genuine as they come bundled with Sandisk Extreme III compact flash cards at the moment. I am using Lightroom so do not need the Capture One tool and I have kept one version of 3.2 Rescue Pro for myself.

The Capture One offer can be viewed at;
Phase One

The documentation I have for this is the licence key which I will post to you.

The Rescue Pro software comes on mini CD with the activiation code on the envelope, again to be sent my post.

Thanks Martin smile

I guess I'm a bit old school and likely to be at least over the average of the PH age range and thought I could do some a favour for some other photographers so the offer was all above board no strings or doginess involved.

I'm afraid all the software has gone to good homes now, hopefully everyone got their copy safely.

I'm a great believer in a "what goes around comes around" type of philosophy. Sure I've been done over a few times in my private and professional life, especially by car dealers it seems scratchchin, but I've also had some brilliant things come back my way too.

In the words of Gary Player "the harder I practice the luckier I seem to get"

Enough rambling, time to head off to the docs for my boosters and to get an anti Malarial prescription.

Cheers

Chris

reminds me..

Two copies of 3.2 Rescue Pro here for the taking. They've been sitting on the desk for a while so they need a good home.

Not sure if I got that joke, but sounds to me as if its in poor taste.

A real joke is something everyone will find funny and not at someone else's expense.

rolleyes

No, a real joke HAS to be at someone's expense. I can't think of anything funny that doesn't have a person as the butt of the joke. Besides - I thought Mogadishu turned down being twinned with Brixton because they didn't want the association??? wink

Martin - rofl - you made me smile anyway...even at the end of a very long and troublesome night!!!

Would the 'joke' have been funny if we said Maida Vale ? or Chelsea ? What about Hammersmith.
What about the teachers/nurses who live and work in the area ?
What about the people who work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week ?
and have not been on holiday for ten years ?

The reason you may find it funny is because of your preconceptions about the area.
How many of you know anyone from the area or have ever visited it ?

Or maybe everything you know about the area comes from a friend of a friend ?

Quite a few places in London change at night. Sadly most peoples experience of Brixton is at night.
Visit during the day and it is different.

I seem to remember we (PH !) were in the papers many years ago. Did not reflect us at all.

Oh and one more thing....

What's Mogadishu got to do with it ?

...the world IS flat. Especially viewed on my new 42" Plasma.

No because brixton is a shit hole

What about the teachers/nurses who live and work in the area ?

They are allowed to leave

What about the people who work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week ?

I am unsure of the relevance to this quiz?

and have not been on holiday for ten years ?

I have

The reason you may find it funny is because of your preconceptions about the area.

Preconception? I have been there. Brixton = Hole = Fact

How many of you know anyone from the area or have ever visited it ?

Me \ Many a time

Or maybe everything you know about the area comes from a friend of a friend ?

See above

Visit during the day and it is different.

I have been during the day - I am waiting to go at night but my stab vest hasn't arrived yet.

Perhaps the original complainant didn't get a sense of humour from Santa Claus. Who's been a naughty boy then.
