I do get rather annoyed at how much PP has gone on when it comes to landscapes (Someone should put very large firework next to the photomatix HQ). He's obviously a great photographer, but it feels like I'm on acid when I look at some of his shots.

JUST TURN THE VOLUME DOWN!

As for charging that amount - well a girlfriend of mine (way back) wasn't getting any work, so I suggested she tripled her prices - she was immediately inundated with job offers. Sadly, a lot of people out there think that if it's expensive, it must be good.

(My girlfriends work was, of course, very good (in case she's reading this)

ETA: Dan, mate... I think if you look at Martin's photos, they are generally not of cars.

there are not many people who are prepared to pay more than ikea prices for prints.

how many prints do you suppose he sells?

how much time and money has he put into making the images?

the guys got to make a living! Personally i think some of his work on silver gelatin is cheap at $300.
