these dam little worms all over my photos!!!!!!!

so before i go diving in with a spounge and my finest bottle of MR Muscle, what is the best way to get my camera clean without breaking it? i have had a look and it appears that it is on the CCD and not on the mirror, which isnt ideal.

thanks a lot

Well here's one way of doing it, which is supposed to be good...

I went at mine with just a blower brush (with the brush bit detatched) and it helped get rid of the dust on mine, although if you have a bad case of worms then maybe you need something a bit more effective. Dunno.

This is a blower brush:

They also do sensor cleaning pens in Jessops but i dont know if I fancy actually drawing on my sensor!

I've got an Arctic Butterfly and it's great. In my view all a blower does is more the dust around but the butterfly actually removes it. Also there is minimal pressure applied to CCD so risk of damage is very low.

I think there are two types of Arctic Butterfly - one is a bit cheaper than the other.

I have the cheaper one and am very pleased with it. thumbup

Check here for all the methods available.

Some are better than others. I clean with a swab and methanol solution and even after 8 cleans, ther's still some of the damn stuff left!
