eshop898 - avoid at all costs.

Quick summary
I had a non delivery so after two weeks, asked for my money back. Guy leave me a neg feedback, and gets shirty so I started a paypal dispute which today I've won and had all my money refunded.

He's now started an Ebay nonpayment dispute against me - LOL and given me an unpaid strike ! frown
I've just fed the paypal dispute back to ebay.

So I discovered you can filter out the negative ebay feedbacks using this tool

http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs

which is really handy when you see this sellers feedback as soon as there is any problems

having 206 negatives, I would have stayed well clear in the first place.

I wouldn't have blamed you for using them - this last month he has 2500 positives and 33 negatives and in the 12 months 21000 positives and 197 negatives. Take the negs as a percentage and it's not a lot.

I probably would have gone for it in your situation.

Yup - he looked good. powerseller, but he has an awful attitude as soon as you have a problem with him. Just don't want others to have the same hassle me & others are going through with him.

ooh

If we are doing Photography shops on Ebay to avoid, I will add "citiwide_online"

I ordered some filters, mailed after waiting over two weeks for them, saying I needed them before going on holiday (another two weeks time!) so they said sorry, we cant get them to you by then as we have none in stock. refunded the money

then a month later, left me two unpaid item strikes!

ebay has long since turned into a total hole. Minefield doesn't come close, I hate the place.

I had similar issues with URGalaxy, I ordered some stuff, didn't arrive and they were very difficult to contact. In the end I had to post negative feedback just to get their attention. I did get my money back eventually.

As others have said they have a lot of positive feedback, again as others have said if you are prepared for the risks then you can save money on ebay but if things go worng then the effort required to get a refund is quite significant.
