NASCAR + Grand Canyon + Colorado

I was on holiday last week and took in the NASCAR race at Las Vegas. Then drove up through Colorado via the Grand Canyon to Denver. Really enjoyed the racing and the trip. Here are some snaps.

Thanks folks. It was a great trip if a little jammed packed as I was only away 8 nights and 4 of those were in Las Vegas. Whilst I have been to quite a few Champcar/Indycar races (big Franchitti fan) this was my first full NASCAR event. Definitely a huge spectacle. I had a massive grin on my face for about the first 50 laps just from the noise. Not sure if anyone saw 5th Gear this week but they had a piece about NASCAR and the Daytona 500 - that summed it up pretty well.
