Hi All,

Just bought myself a D40 and managed to borrow my old man's 70-200m f2.8 lens. What do you guys think?

Hi All,
...
14,
I think they are great. For some reason, I really like this one - it shows the energy stored before what I imagine was a flick into a left hand hairpin.

Out of interest, what shutter speed did this come out at? I only ask because I recently used 1/200 at a track and some of the pictures came back a bit soft.

Cheers guys!

NoisyGriff, that photo was taken at 1/320 sec, ISO-400 f/2.8.

I really wish I could use that lens all the time as it allowed me to continue shooting at 1/320sec in low light :-)

thumbup Thought it looked like you were shooting wide open, nice dof separation between the cars and background.

Can't wait to get out to some stages with my 80-200 f/2.8 and whichever SLR body I get round to buying hehe
