Hi there,

WOW !!! What can I say, the FIA GT series is go for 2008.

Today was the turn of the GT3 and GT4 cars to head out on track, took my new camera and got loads of pics, still working through them but thought I would share a few.

I am back at the track tomorrow for the GT1 and GT2 practice sessions can't wait to see the big boys out on track.

Morgan Aero 8 - these sound phenomenal

Quite a few F430's out today

Aston Martin DBRS9's six of these running in total

Ascari's making a welcome return for 2008

Porsche 911 - new GT3 Cup S for 2008

Ford Mustang's and also Ford GT's will race again in the 2008 series

Jaguar XKR GT3

Lamborghini Gallardos inc two from Tech9

Dodge Viper

Finally one from GT4. 2008 sees the debut of the new KTM X-BOW, this things have to be seen to be believed. Amazing and look like great fun.

More to follow from me soon inc loads more from GT4.

Hope you like the pics.

Regards

Tim

Nice shots Tim, good and sharp. That Xbow looks mad, never expected to see it racing, always saw it as a track day car, but I'm sure it'll more than hold it's own.

One comment on your shots - and I'm sure you know this, but it'd be better to move around a bit, Silvertones not the best place from the spectator side, but there are a few other places to get shots. I expect you were just trying your new gear out though smile

Some great pics there.

How the hell is the X-Bow considered a Grand Tourer though?

It's nice to see the range of cars in the field from the same angle though.

Very nice pics, and the Morgan does look great!

Hmm, don't get me wrong, great to see bigger grids and stuff like the X-Bow racing, but I do think it's stretching the genre a bit.

I shall eagerly await to see how it gets on tomorrow on ITV4!

Such great cars but from an aesthetic point of view why can't they ban wings on ALL of them smile
