Bracketed Exposures
Discussion
Ok, maybe a silly question, but i haven't spotted the answer anywhere previously.
If I set my EOS 400D to take bracketed exposures, does it create three separate images, so that when I download the photos to my PC, I'll have the same photos (with different exposures of course) three times - i.e. 001, 002, 003?

Except that in less time than it took you to type that, you could have found out by doing it If I set my EOS 400D to take bracketed exposures, does it create three separate images, so that when I download the photos to my PC, I'll have the same photos (with different exposures of course) three times - i.e. 001, 002, 003?

Any way to do more than three exposures?
Say -6 -4 -2 0 2 4 6? How would one set them manually? Is it simply one/two stop(s) of apeture, or is there more to it than that?
If it's any help, a camera I've been using (EOS 300D) only allows the three.Say -6 -4 -2 0 2 4 6? How would one set them manually? Is it simply one/two stop(s) of apeture, or is there more to it than that?
-2 sounds a lot(never mind -6). I normally use +/- 2/3.

ETA- what if you don't have exposure bracketing at all? Surely there's nothing to stop you doing multiple exposures? Just gotta work them out and set them yourself?
