Cripes, they are cheap!
Do you know if they can guillotine away an area of the print which doesnt scale to within the area that the print fills, after being printed? (I read that twice and it does make sense, only just though!)

Buster, probably. I went for a job interview at photobox many moons ago (as a web dev) and I met most of the team. They were all really friendly and seemed very customer focused. Good bunch of people.

I'll make my request when I order, if I can.

Either way, whether upsizing and losing two edges, or downsizing on the other axis so the image will fit within the A2 parameters, some adjustment will need to be made for a perfect print and its likely they have crossed this bridge thousands of times before so they must have some kind of a solution to apply when such requests are made. He says.

And let you guys know out (as a matter of interest) what actually happened once I receive the print.

There's a crop option when you upload your image IIRC, though I usually crop in Photoshop to the exact print dimensions, unsharp mask at that siaze rather than let them do it. Doubt they will actually trim the prints for you, I suggest it's out with the straight edge and exacto knife!
