Can I ask...why did nobody reply to these images? Are they that bad?

Martin,Martin.
They certainly aren't bad, but in all honesty I much prefer your wildlife work! I guess I could say the composition didn't really do anything for me, but avoided posting rather than wanting to offend you. The people ones are more to my liking - I find the lack of symmetry (without being out enough to seem intentional) + the shadows distracting in the car shots.
Dan
p.s. I've posted shots before and had almost no comments

On a better note, I quite like them, first time I've seen them, maybe everyone's been busy?
I quite like the shots of people working. I find they tell a tale. Something that nobody really notices when they go to see the cars, but without them they wouldn't be there to be seen...if you catch my drift.
Like this one at the Welsh Rally. Kind of says, "out of my hands now"?

Yo Martin, I didn't see these the first time round so didn't comment then. I've been noticing a lot of threads go by with few comments being made these days, I definitely don't think it's a reflection of the quality of the photographs, it just seems to be the direction the forum is taking.
I occasionally think about signing up to dieselstation as you get a lot more feedback on car photos over there but those guys are savage when they don't like a photo so I always decide against it!
An increasing number of what used to be our regular posters now don't post photos here at all, which I suspect is a product of the lack of feedback.
For what it's worth, these ferrari pictures are interesting but I don't think they are up to your usual standard, They just seem to be a little bit flat and the composition on some of them is a bit jarring.
I do like the people ones though.
If the weather turns nice I'm shooting a bike engined mini tonight, we'll see if I get any comments when I post those pics!

As punters we had access to the 430 challenge 'garage'. I took a load of pictures in there as its the first proper chance Ive had to be that close to the cars and the people working on them.. and then dissapointed with the results I junked 99% of them at home.
Given the chance again and a less crowded garage Id be pushing to slow the shutter speed as slow as possible to get some motion blur as people work around the car/ garage.. Motorsport in motion..
Being honest.. yours.. and mine.. just seem a little too static for my taste.
