cry That's a shame that you had to sell. I cleared out my savings to buy mine. Very foolish considering that I'd just been made redundant and was setting up a new business. It is a massive expense but as my mum says, it gives me lots of driving pleasure. Well at least that's what I keep telling myself every it empties my purse laugh

Mine sounds uber fabulous. I don't get many opportunities to get it over 4,000 revs though frown but when I do it's biggrin

Yours looks lovely. I seem to remember you posting it on the Audi/VW forum and me complimenting you on your fine choice.

Did you not know I had a Corrado VR6? I was sure that you did. Barney's famous biggrin

Around town I'll often see 13-16MPG, making an old Yank tank seem less of a daft idea.

Where do we go from here indeed. I quite fancy a Lancia Delta Integrale but not the repair bills. Am rather in lurve with the Audi Quattro after 'Ashes To Ashes'. I gave up the idea of a '69 Mustang when petrol passed £1 per litre. A BMW M3 would be uber fabulous...but for now I'll stick with Barney having invested so much cash in him. And I can't think about parting with him.

I talked to BoostedLS1 about the supercharge option but he said with the VR6 engine it would be tricky. It was three years ago that we discussed it so I might have got that wrong but I'm sure he said best not too. I think that it was shed loads of money too - £2K plus. There is so much that I'd like to do to mine (and have done at car maintenance class at night school) but there is a limit and a girl needs some new shoes now that summer is coming. All good fun though smile
