Nikon 80-400mm VR instruction manual anyone?

[Don]

I recently obtained a 80-400mm VR lens to go with my D2X.

In my quest for value I, of course, bought it off a chap on eBay. Brilliant - lens in perfect working order - several hundred pounds saved.

Downside is that I am missing the tripod collar (no great loss IMO) and any documentation that might have come with it. Now it looks straightforward enough to me BUT

...does anyone have a link as to where I might download a PDF version of the manual?

And yes I did Google before asking - I may be a dolt but I'm not that useless!

[_dobbo_]

mine came with no tripod collar either. I'm told it was rubbish anyway.

I do however have all the documentation, I can scan it in if you don't get any luck with a PDF version.

YHM!

I'll try and find a PDF but if you get a chance and it runs through a scanner without it being too much trouble I'd very much like to take you up on that offer.

There's a manual for the AF VR 80-400mm f/4.5-5.6D ED listed here, is that the lens you've got?
