Snapped this from bedroom window, just before a big storm came in. I think it came out pretty good, considering it was through glass, and on my snappy camera, on 'sunset' setting.

Love the sky and the composition, shame the white balance is miles off...

Please accept my apologies... I can't help it if it's just a point and click thing.

(I read that...and I have the same problem with my compact sometimes. Wasn't meant nastily...probably should have put thewink first time around.)

I've no idea if you can change white balance settings on the thing anyway. My slr has it on auto pretty much all the time, but the compact, meh, no idea! How do you tell if the white balance is out? What would I look for? (to be honest, it looks very much as the sunset did, it just emphasises the 'reddiness' on the sunset setting, I fink)

That it emphasises the redness means it turns the sky from blue to turquoise in the process...that's how I could tell.

Meh... I'm colour blind anyway, so seldom trust my eyes as it is!
