good shots there, shame about the blur on the 1st on, i love the breadvans!!
I know, that is the most annoying thing of the weekend for me, but I was really pleased with the apparent smoothness of the armco. This is a 100% crop straight out of the camera

Looks like Gran Turismo had a lot of advertising out there (on the sunvisors of every car.
That Scirroco looks the nuts, was that the first outing of the GT model?
GT had loads of sponsorship, banners over the track and a hole stall area with GT5 prologue, and one machine with the nurburgring as well (not included in prologue). That Scirroco looks the nuts, was that the first outing of the GT model?
I think it was the Sciroccos first showing, but I'm not sure. All three finished so they've got something right...

Great pics, really makes me want to go to 'the ring'. Perhaps the 24hr race next year will have to be my target!
It's definitely worth a trip, if you are going with mates make sure you either take your car or that you are driving for the last 50miles ish. Stunningly smooth windy roads

Some more I've just got round to having a look at. I'd resized these to 1500 prior to uploading to flickr in the hope that the forum squash wouldn't ruin them, but flickr has resized them

Thanks for the comments, I really like the Lambo/'Vette one as well. I am hoping to get a couple printed to canvas, but can't decide whether to chose that one or not as it wasn't actually part of the 24hr! For all those considering going in the future, its definitely worth it. I'm going to Le Mans for the first time in a couple of weeks, I'll post a comparison when I return.

Good stuff Hugh.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new fencing hadn't completely ruined the photography. I spent most of my time at Steilstrecke to Karussell and Breidscheid.
I'm liking #26 especially - do you have any with a car just cresting the rise?
I do have a couple of cars on the ridge, but none of them were particularly good, the 80-200 I was using just wasn't long enough from where I was standing. #26 is a 100% crop, were as most of the others are virtually full frame.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the new fencing hadn't completely ruined the photography. We walked a fair bit of the track, Hatzenbach - Aremburg, Hohe Acht - Carrusel, Brunnchen - Schwalbenschwanz and spent a few hours at Breidscheid on both Friday and for the finish.
