Hi all,

I'll be filming out at the Nurburgring in the next couple of weeks. Now, never having been there before I'd like to get some advice on the best locations to be in to get great shots of the car on the track.

Any great corners or sequence of corners I should be looking to shoot? (E.g. the carousel) And what are the viewing areas like?

Any info would be much appreciated!

I just came back last week.

Since my last trip there they have put up huge FIA style crash fencing seriously impeding some of the more classic shots.

Thats not to stop somebody who is determined.

Keep your eyes peeled and you will find peep holes through some of the fencing (for example the Karrousel).

Like this I took last week

Another good vantage point is head over to Adeneur Bridge and walk up the hill. Can just about shoot over the top of the fences.

Like these

I posted all the shots in the following thread. http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Great info, cheers guys.

I'm not sure is the session that I am filming will be open to the public or not. But I am an official film crew for the car we are filming so I'm hoping I might get better access.

I just know its a long circuit and so was trying to find the best views.

Keep the suggestions coming if you have them.

Doesn't make any difference to the spectator areas / acess if it's a public or private session. Only bit of access that changes is the barrier at the end of the car park that let's you onto the track itself wink

Ahhhh..... cool.... well I guess that makes life easier then.... its going to be a bit of a free for all. I guess I'll just have to jump in the hire car / walk around a lot to get the best vantage points.
