so, how does one shoot moving cars? Will have my D50 plus tripod and 70/300 zoom.

Is there a thread on this?

Thanks,

Have a search for "panning" - where you move the camera to track the car.

The idea is for the car to be sharp and the background is all blurred.

The key is practice, and more practicewink

Get out there with your kit at the roadside and snap away.

Get yourself to the bottom of the Esses looking back up to the Dunlop bridge at dawn or dusk. Set up your tripod and get some nice long exposures / light trails of the cars coming down the hill.

If you've not done any panning before it might be worth heading to a local road to practice on before you leave wink
