A couple of Impreza's
Discussion
Evening,
I was out with John185k for a little shoot last night, it makes a change from taking polaroids of insects and landscapes
Anhow, here's a couple of the shots I'm fairly happy with. Still got lots to sort through.. Clicky for large versions (if you can be arsed).
A few of mine:

and a couple of John's

Yay, nay? What do you recon? All shot with Canon 40D, 17-40mm L, full manual, and no lighting.
Cheers,
Neil.

edited to say, Sheriff JWPepper was a bit of an arse (just in case you're wondering what the number plate thing was), he's deleted his posts.

edited to say, Sheriff JWPepper was a total knob (just in case you're wondering what the number plate thing was), he's deleted his posts.
4hero you seem unable to cope with anything other than sycophantic posts. I deleted my posts as you were clearly so distressed that you felt the need to start flinging insults.edited to say, Sheriff JWPepper was a total knob (just in case you're wondering what the number plate thing was), he's deleted his posts.

For those who wonder why 4hero is so excitable it's because I had the temerity to suggest that a couple of reg plates wouldn't go amis.
I will leave you to it.

Why would number plates be needed on cars that are parked on (what certainly looks like) private land?
Nice shots Neil, I can't help but wonder just how good the last shot could have been with some fill lighting though.
Thanks Dogsey, must learn more about lighting, this is the next thing on my photography list to be honest. Only been doing this photography stuff for over a year, but want to learn it all today

nice pics!
where were the ones with the backrounds of the bridges taken if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks, where were the ones with the backrounds of the bridges taken if you don't mind me asking?
Rjohnston, I've created a google map showing you where the shots were taken, hopefully it works

p.s. I did a little more processing on my car, too much or just enough?

shot above was 6 exposures ran through photomatix and adjusted levels slightly
then thrown into photoshop cs2 to do the selective colouring
then some processing done in lightroom, just minor adjustments, but lots of vignetting
