uploading them to Photobox doesn't seem to work.

I've tried to alter some photos slightly in EOS Professional (small changes to brightness/colour) but when I upload them to Photobox and get them printed I can see no difference from the original (where as I can see the changes on screen).

Are the changes lost when you upload them ?? I have just realised that you can alter them within Photobox itself so I'll give that a go but just wonderered about the original query.

I think Canon Digital Photo Professional works in the same way as Adobe Lightbox and does not actually change the original file. It will store a list of modifications made to the image but not change the original file itself. Therefore if you view the images in Windows Explorer, or upload them to Photobox, they would be unmodified, whereas viewing with DPP will show the images with the changes. This stops you from losing information from the original image when you modify it.

Within DPP you need to select the files that you want to upload to Photobox and then use the "Convert and save..." or "Batch process..." options from the file menu to create new files that will then have the changes incorporated.
