I'm interested in putting some photos on the web where people can buy prints if they want to, for example my niece gets married shortly and I want to post the photos i'll be taking where the guests can view them and if they want copies they can buy them from the site. I'm not trying to make money I just don't want to get asked to print 100 pictures at the end of it, thats happened too many time before and takes forever.

So has anyone on here got any experience of using Photobox or Snapfish or any others, if you do I'd appreciate any comments on your experiences with them

Thanks

Richard.

use photobox!

I have been royally shafted by snapfish in the past where I ordered gifts for Christmas, was given a 3 day turn around (this was end of november) they eventually shipped the gifts at the middle of february. Customer service was dire to say the least and totally unappologetic

Photobox have never let me down, very fast and great on quality

Photobox is good if you just want to post stuff and let peoply buy priunts direct (ie don't want to make any profit); however their Pro Gallery system (where you can set the price and keep the difference) is a complete bloody shambles at present.

I've used photobox to share wedding photos in the past, it's easy, just make it a public album and then send the link to whoever is interested.

I'd also recommend Photobox for that. But make sure you send them the invitation and that they register via your invitation, so that you get lots of free prints.wink
