Thanks guys, was determined to get a 400d, set my budget etc etc. But it seems the Canon cashback no longer an offer on the 400, but 50gbp back on the 450. So decision made, even though still spent more than intended.
AND my old EOS lenses work a treat!!! 70 - 210 1:4, 28 - 70 1:3.5 - 4.5, 50 1:1.8 all Canon lenses. Just need to get back in the swing of things now. Taking my newley aquired Cerbera through the Grande route des Alpes next week, so need to learn fast!!
