Well after a fun day out at Farnborough and taking 300+ photos I have realised I have a bit of dirt on the CCD which is showing up in every photo frown

Luckily they were mostly air shots and can be cropped/cloned out, but as I've had the camera a while I should probably get it sorted.

Is this a DIY job or should I take it somewhere? If the latter any recommendations in the Thames Valley area - I'd rather not go into central London if I can help it.

On my Nikon you go into the settings and lock up the mirror, once done I use a puff blower thingy, (the one that has a brush on the end) take the brush off (never us the brush on the CCD it can damage it) then blow the CCD, only use a blower, never blow with your breath as you may blow spit on the CCD.
Hope this helps, If I can do it, then most will be able to do it.
