Nice photos. Like the F430 ones. Not sure about the F40 driver's hair style! Congratulations on your 1000th post!
Haha, cheers! didn't notice that ThatPhilBrettGuy said:
Some good ones but just step away from the spot colour!
I did think that but it was too tempting!

Oh, and I would get rid of the watermark too.
Does that rule still stand where those people can take any of our photos on here free of charge, or something along those lines?miniman said:

Ahh phew! well theres more than one benefit of a watermark
if you catch my drift *cough*advert*cough*
If you want them for advertising purposes, I would go with something consistent and small like the ones nick_bbb uses, e.g. on this thread

Much better!
Must admit the first thing I saw when I looked at the shots was the very large web address. It's good that it's there, but it shouldn't be overpowering - the most recent shot (of the dials) is just right, in my very humble opinion!!
I love the shots, byt he way. I think the spot colour of the manettino switch (That's what it's called, right?) works, but perhaps not so in the car shot.
Also like the desaturated look of the portrait shot.
Which 50mm do you have - the 1.4 or 1.8 ? I have the 1.8 and think it's fantastic!!!

haha, what would you suggest the ideal situation is for the 50? I tried doing comparisons with the 17-85 but the quality seemed fairly similar. Is it just because of the wider aperture so ideal for low light?
Ideal for low light, or for giving you OOF backgrounds. Cracking little lens, don't ever let anyone put you off using it.Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
