Im looking to buy an ND Grad filter and Im looking to pick up a Cokin System.

There's about 5 or 6 different strength filters and rather than buying all of them, I need some advice on which one, or 2 to go for. Should I buy the Kit? £50 most places includes ND2, ND4 and ND8soft, but there is gradual grey (top to bottom) and also ND8 hard transition

Any advice folks? I know I also need to buy the adapter ring for the camera.

I have the 0.75 and 0.9 Lee system and find the 0.9 more useful. below 0.8 are a bit subtle.

I'm not sure you'll need the whole kit... I'd just buy the adapter, holder and the 0.8 and see how you get on.

FYI the first pic on this thread is a 0.9 http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I would echo that (although I am nowhere near as qualified to offer advice!)

I have the Cokin system and the lightest grad really doesn't seem to make a noticeable difference.
