I need to replace my two 19" monitors as the colour reproduction isn't even on them both.

I am thinking that the same size but WSXGA+ (1680 x 1050) would be best, but anyone care to recommend some?

I know that pcpro recommended an Iiyama so am tempted by that, as it is under £100 too.

Do you colour manage them? Otherwise you'll be likely to have the same problem again, I would have thought?

Why not buy a monitor calibrator instead?

this is true, but I want a higher resolution, and wide-screen to match my laptop, hence needing two new monitors, rather than, as you suggested, spending a little on monitor calibration.

If you do buy new one, I might be interested in buying an old one from you (i assume they are LCD's) for a 'credit crunch' friendly fee!

sorry but they will be re-distributed around the office, as most have 17"s but a couple of those will replace the 15"s still used.

I have a Dell UltraSharp 2007WFP 20" TFT which I've been pretty pleased with.

very good John.

Actually it was editing some of the photos that you took which showed up the deficiencies in the monitors.
