Canon EOS 1000D

[mikee boy]

I'm after a DSLR on a tight budget. I've seent the (quite good) reviews for the 1000D and I have 2 other Canon lenses already which will fit.

Does anybody have any negative experiences with this camera.

p.s. I'm getting it on a deal - £270 including lens.

S'not a bad camera.

Kind of a mix of the 350,400 and 450d.

AF from the 350d, sensor from the 400D and live view etc from the 450D.

The only real big issue is the RAW shooting FPS performance of 1.5 (3 with jpg).

270 is a decent price.

personally i think the 1000d is awful feels really cheap and plasticky , why not find a nice s/h 20d, better build and nicer to use imho
