Miss Betty Bones and the '34 Ford
Discussion
We met up for a shoot today with Tony's 34 and a lovely young lady called Miss Betty Bones. I've just had chance to process one shot but I'll stick some more up as they get done (probably tomorrow as I'm going out). Thanks to Tony for lending his car and sorting out the venue. Boy it was cold today I don't know how she managed. Enjoy...

I think the tattoo's are great. More colour and contrast and it would be far more work to clone them out.
I agree with DIW35. Whilst they work on her as a person, they don't fit the feel of the shot, the car and her apparel.ETA - actually, I don't think the platforms work either
Stilettos, yes, pink, maybe. But not pornstar platforms.Edited by Famous Graham on Saturday 22 November 22:12
Thanks for the comments guys
On the theme of the shoot, the car is a Street Rod, rather than a Hot Rod, denoted by the modern wheels led indicators etc. So it's old but with a modern twist, which I think the model fits perfectly with
They were shot in an industrial unit in Morden, we had some trouble getting the car in and out due to the pitch of the ramp going in and nearly left the gearbox behind!.
Lighting wise I used some different set ups. The one above was taken using some daylight constant lights as some fill in with the ambient light from the windows behind. I also used a flash set up but the ebay triggers are totally unusable for this kind of shoot so I had to give up on them. They kept firing randomly without being triggered and I hadn't had time to arrange an alternative trigger system. We also did some shots using the sun with the shutters of the industrial unit open...

I guess it's all subjective - all I know is I think it's a great shot!

Nothing wrong with the tattoos, they add to the theme for me, and I'm sure the lady doesnt much care what we think anyway
surely in the era he is trying to portray 'ladies' would not have had tattoos ?
People take old things (cars, clothes) and give them a modern twist. The wheels on the car, the tattoos on the model
Really great set of images! Your lighting set ups worked really well.
Just this one I'm not quite sure about:

Something feels strange about the pose, angle of her head, maybe it's the distorted perspective from using a wide angle lens? Can't quite put my finger on it what it is about the picture...
