NOOOOO!!

I use a chemical called Eclipse and wipes called "PecPad's". With a spatula, they double as a cleaner for your sensor (if it requires manual cleaning).

DO NOT use a cloth you think is clean, you can use a new pecpad every time (100 wipes for about 6 quid).

yikes

I used to a really crappy cloth that came in a cleaning kit with the camera when I bought it, but it would always leave smears. Never thought of a t shirt!

I breathe on it and wipe with a micro fibre cloth thingy, leaves a much better finish than my t-shirt (which is still better than nothing!)

Before using any cloth or other things to wipe it, USE A BLOWER FIRST as tiny grit can scratch the lens. Personally I'd then use a brush next. Lens Pen works very well for me for tough smears.

yes

Works like a treat when out & about shooting.

For a proper clean use Pec pads & eclipse fluid.
