Hi folks,

I have a Fuji A410 which, in playback mode, can zoom a picture and then save a copy of the zoomed part of the picture as a separate image.

I have looked for this useful feature on my Canon A710 and cannot find it.

Does anyone know if the Canon has this feature and if so, how it is accessed?

Cheers

I have an A710 - never come across this feature, and I'm sure I'd use it if it was there!

Edited to add link to pdf manual - Page 70 relates to magnifying in playback, and there's no mention.

Damn. I took a close up of my mouth to show the dentist how he cocked up my crown but the zoomed pic is much more effective.

Why can't you do it on the PC?

Indeed, transfer it to the PC...crop it and then transfer it back onto the camera if you have no other means of showing the interested parties the pic.

True enough folks. The other way is much quicker but does lose resolution.
