I need a camera from Comet.

Can anyone reccomend me a camera to buy from Comet? I have about £250 to spend in Comet so i am looking for a new camera. i used to have a great little Lumix camera which took fantasic shots but i am thinking about upgrading to an SLR.

I am not sure if i would do it justice so i am thinking about just going for a good quality compact camera again.

My first choice would be this one

Any any other ideas? I can add to the £250 i already have to spend - total to spend will be £400 max. Min £200 as i could use the vouchers another time to buy a new tv or something.

What vouchers are they? Capital bonds or something?

I've got the FZ18 and it is an amazing camera. Can be used manually just like an SLR. It has some of the best technology for reducing the purple fringing normally associated with high powered compacts.
Personally I didnt go for an SLR because I didnt want to be messing around with mirrors, had no need for multiple lenses and the lack of Liveview at the time.

I took out an insurance policy on my old camera and it met its demise at the bottom of my bag. Now its been deemed uneconomical to repair i'm getting vouchers to the value of the camera. £250

Lovely bit of kit and so far i am very impressed with the camera.
