Hoping to place an order with them on a couple of canvases for myself and a friend. Anyone had any experience of them? I realise Tim is a member smile however it is an expensive purchase for the size I'm going for and I wouldn't mind seeing some examples of workmanship...

Many thanks smile

Agreed, I have had 3 canvases from Tim now and they are absolutely spot on. Everything is right - product, service, price - it's all good.

Here's one of them:

I cant really show the quality of a 30x40 canvas online, but Tim did some work on a pic I'd taken on the D40 out in NY, ran it through some gadgetry (Genuine Fractals??) and it's come out better than some I've seen on sale in shops.

Construction is excellent, wrap around on the edges is perfect and got it within about 5 days, 1 of which was because I wasnt in when they couriered it. Oh, and it was well packaged

I'll be placing an order soon too. Wanted one for ages, but always told myself 'nah, I'll get a better shot next time' and today I took this shot of my youngest daughter which I'm really pleased with and think it'll look good on canvas:

You should be pleased, and it will look good!

Tim, if you are watching this thread do you have a last date for receiving a photo and getting the canvas back in time for christmas?

Thanks dobbo. Just occured to me i might need to clone the bottom to give it more space, otherwise it'll be cropped when wrapped around the frame.

I see there's a 15% winter discount on atm which is cool - unless there's a special PH discount which is more? wink

Thanks all for the kind words - its always a pleasure to produce canvas prints for fellow PHers.

I'll be taking orders right up until about the 20th, although that would be leaving it extremely late !

If anyone wants to collect canvasses personally from me here in Battersea, SW London, I'll be available until the afternoon of the 23rd.

Feel free to call me on 07702 114551.

All the best, and Merry Xmas to all,

Tim

Word of warning - Postal workers union are carrying out a 24hr strike on the 19th. I know someone mentioned "courier" above, but they'll still use RM infrastructure for getting it to the general area.

Tim is an absolute joy to do business with - have bought a couple of canvases from him now and both have been stunning - looking to get another one made also.

For the quality the price is very very reasonable - big thumbs up from me!

Another vote for Tim here - rex and I have used him for quite a few canvases over the years for our customers, and will continue to do so - great service at a great price!!!
