Here are a few landscape shots from my recent trip to Namibia. All were taken with my ageing and battered EOS300D. All C&C welcome. Hope you like them.

Top quality stuff, love the orange sand mountain with the people ontop. Looks like an amazing place.

Nice, number 5 is the one for me, although the PH squash does nothing for those strong diagonal lines - try keeping your images to a maximum of 750 wide.

Fantastic stuff!

The light looks extremely harsh there...

Thanks for your kind comments. It's funny that you all seemed to like #5 when that was one I considered not putting in. My favourite's the last one.

The light and sun can be very harsh and I burn quite easily and so a lot of the shots are close to sunrise or sunset. It's so much easier getting up at that time when it's not cold and wet. biggrin

Hopefully the pics from next holiday will be even better as I've just replaced the 300D with a 40D.

We did the From Desert to Delta trip with explore.co.uk

If you can put up with the camping and fairly basic facilities, you get a huge amount of travel for the money. We did 4500km in 19 days excluding the flights.

Number 5 for me too. But I would crop out the tree.

Along with the people, the tree is what gives it scale.

Definitely don't crop the tree... smile
