Photo Competition Archive

As some of you may know, I have been running an archive site for the photo competition threads for a while now, but I have been pretty slack in updating it. This is mostly because it is hand-coded and takes a while to do and I have a 9 month old to deal with, plus an impending house move.

So, I have set up a Flickr account to store them all.

As it stands, you have to be my "friend" to see any of the photos (I've only uploaded the Nov and Dec 2008 winners thus far). This is because I'm not sure whether you are happy to have your entries shared with the world on Flickr. So options are:

- it stays this way
- it is made public

I can't have mix-n-match because it will be too much admin. If everyone is happy with Flickr as the sharing medium, I will get the historic stuff loaded up and point the main URL (www.phphotocomp.com) at it. And then promise to keep it up to date!

As far as I'm concerned PH is public anyway, just leave the copyright doofer set to "all rights reserved" and everyone should be happy?

OK cool if the general consensus is that the pics are public anyway as they are on PH, I will make them public but set the copyright to all rights reserved.

I don't use Flickr and haven't got a Flickr account. Does that mean I won't be able to see the pictures?

No you can still browse if they are public.

If I make them public then yuo will be able to see them.

I think it would be easyer to view on flickr, not that ive won ti be on it yet but i would be happy to see my image there.
