A few from the A1GP (NZ)
Discussion
A few shots from the A1GP - mostly using the 80-200 f/2.8, didn't get on the 70-300 f/4-5.6 so will probably sell it off again and just keep the 80-200. Its fine for still targets and the extra reach is nice but even with high shutter speeds it was very hard to get nice shots of moving cars at the long end, and the AF struggled - hunting around etc.
Anyway heres a selection from what I've processed so far, C & C welcome.

I really like the movement in 2 and 9. Shame it wasn't a bit sunnier because those clean cars really shine.
You mentioned problems with your 70-300. Is that the Canon USM IS version? I've just got one and I'm really impressed with it, although that has been mainly on stationary objects.

Nope, its a Nikon AF 70-300D f/4-5.6 - I don't think there is anything wrong with it as such, maybe my expectations were just a bit too high after the AF 80-200D f/2.8 which is a quite superb piece of glass.Kiwi XTR2 said:

Is it me or are they all very saturated? Nice shots though.
That's what the world looks like down here . . . come down for a look

Yeah I generally try to keep things similar similar to what my eyes were seeing. Could also be a difference in calibration between your monitor and mine?
