I have this week off work and I've been thinking its been far to long since I got the camera out for a play.
So I wondered if anyone had any recomendations for somewhere I can bugger off to and have some peice and quiet to practice some landscape photography. Im happy to travel a reasonable distance but not to far. (I'm near nottingham by the way) Would just like it to be somewhere I will be pretty much on my own, dont like having people around while I'm taking pictures.

So where would pistonheads recomend?

Pleasley's ace for this, I always go there

To the right of where thats taken is a lake and wildlife setup.

Or, Rufford?

Bolsover?

Southwell?

Peaks it is then. Have a look on the Nottingham Flickr group for their last group outing, looked pretty impressive

Thoresby Hall perhaps.

Not taken with the best camera, just a pocket one.
