Hi, appologies if you have had a post like this before but I am trying to find my son a digital camara for under £90 for his 10th B'day. I don't want to break the bank but would like to get something half decent! I have been to Curry's (they hava Kodak for around £89) & Jessops (who have an Olymous X-875 for a similar price & a FujiFilm J12 Finepix for £69). My only other criteria is that it has to run on a lithium battery & not AA batteries as they seem to drain so fast it will cost a fortune running the thing. Thanks in advance for your feedback.........

Not really my area but I agree on the lithium batteries. Also don't fall into the megapixel trap - fewer Mp will probably make for a more useable camera - I'd say 5Mp should be plenty.

Of course if he takes to it there's the risk he'll want a DSLR for Christmas hehe 'ching'

How about one of these:-

I bought one for use by the kids / wife a few months ago to replace an old Canon A70 that eventually died.
It does use AA's though...but they last an absolute age.
Invest in some 2500mAh rechargeables and you wont have any problems.
