I'm happy using the flash on the camera, but I'd like to be able to trigger it off-camera, neither the camera nor flash are wi-fi. All I can find is:
- the Canon hot shoe extension lead (at 40 quid!!!) - too expensive!
- the standard Hot Shoe to pc adapter (a tenner) and then a pc lead (another tenner) and then a pc to hot shoe adapter for the other end (yet another tenner)
- a flash detecting trigger (about 15 quid) but this requires me to get the camera flash to operate which I don't always want to do.
Have a look at this

That looks like just the thing I'm looking for. Any probs getting it from Hong Kong? How long did it take?
I've had a few things from Hong Kong off Ebay. Never any problem with any of them, although they can take 7-10 days or so to arrive. I wasn't charged anything for duty or the like on this one. That looks like just the thing I'm looking for. Any probs getting it from Hong Kong? How long did it take?
