There have been a few discussions on here about timelapse video, so I thought I'd post up the results of my latest experiment.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5EEZnTOup8 - Pollarding a willow

Kit is: Canon Powershot S40 camera in a weatherproof security camera housing and ancient laptop running GBTimelapse to capture. Editing done in Virtualdub.

Sadly I don't have GetCarter's music studio, so music is a random choice from Google's copyright-free list.

Was 'Delilah in New York City' the closest they had to 'A-pollarding we will go'?

Nice video Tuna, I've just done one myself (needs tidying up etc) of my recent conversion

file is corrupt frown

A few of the days shooting from the bedroom I could have used my polorisor (did eventually) but it was still difficult to counter light reflection from the window into the lens....

I've done a few myself...it's ace this timelapse stuff!

Firstly, a built a shed...and these two vids somehow have had around 4,000 views each.

So, I had to lay the foundations:

Then a friend and I put the shed up:

I did do one of me cutting the grass before the shed went up...but it's a bit dull:

If you enjoyed these, then you should see my super slow motion stuff?!

There will be a bit of a test tomorrow morning when I try a timelapse during sunrise. The camera is pointing north east, so we'll just have to see if glare and reflection are a problem.

The only problem so far with plans for filming the house build is that the angle of view is not quite wide enough to fit the entire building in. That'll teach me to design a long and narrow house.
