I'm overhauling the article on Gropec u n t lane on Wikipedia, and am in need of more images. If anyone here lives around Cheapside in London, or Union Street in Wells, or Grape Lane in York, they'd be doing me a big favour if they could take a decent image showing the tight narrow twisty nature of these streets. I am waiting for a book to arrive that will help me further but I believe there are many more of these streets around the country, just none of them near me.
I bet the swear filter will go apes
t at this - so I can't post the url. Instead go to my userpage here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Parrot_of_Doom and click the link from thereon.
I'm working on the article mainly to annoy prissy yanks who will no doubt go bananas at the possibility that their forbidden word will end up on the front page of Wikipedia as a featured article

I haven't yet found the precise location of the Grope
on Cheapside. It's either Threadneedle street (unlikely as it looks very wide), or its somewhere on Cheapside, to the east of Queen Street and north of Pancras Street - linked here - http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&a...
A shot from the northwest corner of the box junction, looking at the building on the corner of Queen Street and Cheapside would probably be best. The old maps show a network of streets there, before that building was constructed:
