Canon 5D mk2 - anyone got one?
Discussion
I quite fancy one to replace my 6-year-old 10D. Want full-frame and high-ISO performance, not so bothered about the HD video.
Anyone got one? Was it worth the pennies?
FWIW my lenses are: 17-40/4L, 50/1.4, 85/1.8, 100/2.8 Macro and 70-200/4L and I don't really have any plans to change them.

I have one to compliment my older 5d. Worth every single penny when used in a way its able to share its detail. The noise performance is fantastic. DO NOT buy from ebay, buy from a UK authorised reseller. I say this because there are potential issues with dead pixels on the sensor. I had this with mine, I bought it from warehouse express and they shipped me a new replacement that was with me the day after reporting the fault.
Some other member on here bought from a cheaper place from over seas, possibly HK = left dead in the water.

Not entirely sure why you'd want to buy such a peice of kit from abroad with no (or little)warrenty.
mkII probably has 3-4 stops minimum of sensativity over the 10D.
some people always think that saving 100 or even 50 quid is a bargain... on something so epensive thats just mentalmkII probably has 3-4 stops minimum of sensativity over the 10D.
