Trackday videos - editing
Discussion
What's the best software to get to edit my track day videos ?
I have a camera on the bike so get a 700MB 20 min clip at the end of each session. I'd like to cut it up into smaller sections and reduce the size a bit, add a bit of background music etc.
Nothig too complicated I hope, happy to spend a bit of cash if that means I can get a nice bit of software but nothing too complex, prefer freeware if possible
Thanks

If you're just clipping the start/finish and maybe adding titles and music I'd use Movie Maker (resident on XP and I think Vista too). It's not the best software in the world but good enough for me, and most importantly it's free!!!
If you're uploading to Youtube I wouldn't worry too much about the quality as Youtube tends to reduce the quality regardless. I tend to save 2 copies, one for me and a low quality one to upload. It also screws up the sound too.
Here's my Thruxton edited with Movie Maker.
Other software packages have things like 'picture-in-picture' and the like if you have 2+ cameras.
