Below are a few shots of the local landscape I took during a recent trip to NZ. I like these and enjoy taking these types of shots (even if the wife is quite bored of them now) but would really like some advice of what's good, bad, indifferent and how they might be improved.

All views and comments appreciated. Thanks.

I know the first couple are on the skew..

The horizon in the top 3 can be easily corrected and would improve them immensely. Nice pictures.

Thanks for the comments - kind of encouraged that they're not too bad. And thanks for the recommendations too.

Cheers.

Lake Pukaki and Mount Cook, TSS Earnslaw at Queenstown, where were the others taken? I love spending ages taking landscapes in NZ.

I'd plump for 3:2 or 16:9 rather than 4:3 if you camera can do it. If not, crop a bit!

Well spotted on the first few. Last two were on the edge of Lake Wanaka - almost directly opposite the town's beach.

I've got others of the area, so might post some more just for interest.

I was walking around Lake Wanaka on Jan 11th, should have recognised it smile I have some great shots of TSS Earnslaw in the middle of Lake Wakatipu, cruised past us when I was on NZL14
