ETA - now three!

After so many attempts at the pier, these are my favourite two, was just wondering what you all thought!

Many Thanks,

Leighton

All very good. Being picky:

No.1 appears to be slightly off centre. Also, the light on the horizon could do with removing and the barrel distortion is quite noticeable (although maybe this suits it). In no.3 the two lamps on the pier are slightly distracting; maybe remove them. You also appear to have dust on your sensor. All minor things, but they'd get annoying if you had them hanging on your wall, which IMO they're good enough for.

HTH.

Thank you very much for that! An ideal comment,

1, oh damn! I didnt have much time but its about as centre as i could achieve based on the ground surface, barrel distortion wasnt that bad but when i tried to correct the horizon i dragged one corner as opposed to abritary rotation, perhaps i could try that instead, i have removed the dust on the larger image, but put this up before i did so!

Thanks again,

Leighton

The first one is a cracker. As pointed out I'd get rid of the distortion in the horizon and probably also clone out the lights of the ships on the left hand side. The colours are really great and the way the blue light is coming through the slats really sets off what would otherwise be a mass of black.

These are grand Leighton, well done. Clevedon Pier is certainly quite photogenic in the right light, shame you have to go to Clevedon to see it wink

Thank you very much! Ok i will get cracking on the lights and sort the horizon out! It was good becuase i looked up and thought, its good how you can see the sky coming through, judgement as opposed to luck! biggrin
