I need to arrange some travel insurance for going abroad withing europe, however, all the policies i'm finding only cover single personal items upto around £350-£400 per single item.

There will be several induvidual items worth in excess of that amount, how does one get these covered without paying the earth?

Any ideas people?

+1 for Glover and Howe. I've been with them for years and have had no problems whenever I've claimed.

My household insurance covers my camera gear for up to 60 days abroad. Only downside is I have a £100 excess, but assuming I never have to claim (again) it's cheaper in the long run.
