help with photos to disc

[Steve H]

Hi, I am organising a suprise party and the venue has many screens which they can play dvd's on. They have said that if I can give them a disc with photos on they will play them during the party. I have a problem as I do not have a scanner and would like some advice. Are there any high street places that can scan photos and put onto a disc for me? I will also email them some pics to put on the same disc ( I know I could do this myself but the venue will only put 1 disc in and leave it.

do people like snappy snaps do this sort of thing?

Cheers

I'm not 100% whether they can do it, but i know they can reprint from photos they also do restoration & offer slide processing so there definatly worth a try.

Have just googled "photos scanned to cd" & there are quite a few companies out there, also prices vary.
Depending on how many you want scanned it may be cheaper to buy a basic flatbed scanner & do it yourself.
Hope this helps.
