That could be spot colour followed by a reduction in saturation of what's left.

Call me a plonker if you like, but the colour has been taken out the walls
etc. but the black car, is still a black car, without the colour taken out.

black in colour, is different to black in black and white.

Hope this helps, i think i'm right. I usually am, hehe

Just to add a bit more, if you save the picture, then open it, zoom in loads
and scroll between car and wall etc. you will see the wall etc. is made up of various shades of black and white.
The car is made up of various red/blue etc shades of b&w.

It's the same as a colour photo being printed in a cheap black and white leaflet. It's black ink in various sized dots, with white paper giving the lighter/white shades.

black in colour is usually made from 100% red blue yellow, with real black
in the darker places. If you saw a colour print with above 100%, you'd think
it was great, until you see that little bit of real black they put in the
darker shades, that you thought were black anyway.

Oh by the way, yes photoshop is your friend, but don't tell anyone hehe.

Ps, please don't the scientific bunch come and pick on me, i'm only trying
to help.
