DSLR recommendations please.

Having had a look around the Canon EOS 450D looks like a good start, what else should I be considering?

I don't really want to go above about £600 but if I really should I'd like to know why and will take any input on board.

All thoughts appreciated.

Cheers

Mattley.

Keep an eye on the Canon refurb outlet: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Canon-Outlet_Canon-E...

Some days stuff goes for ridiculously high amounts of money, and others ridiculously low amounts! At the moment there is a 450D+kit lens on at £510, yet a few days ago one went for £168! I see at the end of May, a 5D body went for £469!

All items have a full Canon warranty.
